Each year, around mid-to-late summer, gardeners often notice something unusual about the hibiscus plants they purchased in early Spring.
The new hibiscus plants had been compact, with dense foliage, and covered with blooms. Then, after a few months, the plants become gangly, with more stem showing between the leaf nodes. And the original lavish display of blooms that looked so great at the nursery is greatly reduced.

Space City Hibiscus Show, June 6, 2010
Sunday June 6th, Space City Hibiscus Society will have its last show of the 2010 at East Harris County Activity Center 7340 Spencer Highway Pasadena TX. Doors open from 1 to 4 PM
Admission is FREE and so is the Parking. There will be experts available to help you with any questions about your hibisucus plants. Also SPACE CITY FERTILIZER will be available. This is a great place to see plants that are not normally available at local big box stores.
